Fiscal Matters & Sino-U.S. Tensions At The Fore

US TSYS
Fiscal matters/differences in the U.S., coupled with bubbling Sino-U.S.
tensions surrounding several consulates provides a slightly defensive feel
to the start of a new trading week. Further afield, fresh pockets of COVID-
19 worry have become evident across the globe. T-Notes unchanged at
139-18+.
  • A reminder that Friday saw T-Notes make a brief showing
through technical resistance in early London hours, before retracing
as cash 10s failed to break through their recent lows, with 10-Year
yield ranges then tightening in NY hours.
  • Eurodollar futures largely unchanged through the reds.
  • Regional activity in the space should pick up with Japan back from
holiday, although there is a lack of tier 1 data evident in Asia hours.
