- CPI: Bbg Consensus: 0.1% m/m, 0.9% y/y; Prev (Sep): -0.3% m/m, +0.9% y/y 
- Annual inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at Sep's level in Oct, while
monthly HICP is projected to rebound after Sep's decline. 
- Core inflation ticked up to 0.9% in Sep after Aug's three-month low of 0.7% 
- Insee's Sep report notes that food inflation slowed sharply, energy inflation
moderated and service prices accelerated on an annual basis. 
- Prices for manufactured goods declined at a slower pace in Sep than in Aug 
- Fwd-looking survey evidence suggests a marginal pick up in prices: 
- The flash composite PMI report notes that cost burdens rose markedly in Oct
with firms passing on higher costs to their customers. 
- The European Commission's business and consumer survey states that selling
price expectations rose in both the manuf and services sectors in Oct.
