Flatter Despite Impending 30-Year Supply

JGBS

The JGB space has bull flattened, playing catch up to Monday’s move in Tsys. The major cash benchmarks run little changed to ~3.5bp richer across the curve, with nothing in the way of underperformance in the super-long end evident ahead of this afternoon’s 30-Year supply. Meanwhile, JGB futures have coiled, hitting the lunch bell +7, sticking to a tight range a little shy of the overnight session peak. Local headline flow has been limited, outside of the previously alluded to headlines surrounding the seemingly impending government cabinet reshuffle.
