  • Business climate continued its recovery, rising by 2pt to 92, up from a downwardly revised Aug figure and 2pt below market expectations.
  • The indicator remains below Feb's pre-crisis level and below the long-term average, despite the uptick.
  • Sep's increase was broad-based with every sector showing monthly improvements.
  • Manufacturing sentiment ticked up 4pt to 96, shifting the indicator to the highest level since March.
  • Service and retail trade confidence showed monthly gains as well, both edging up 2pt to 95, respectively.
  • Similarly, Employment climate rose to 93, revealing the fifth successive increase since April's slump.
