France’s Fos Cavaou LNG Terminal Resumes Operations Earlier Than Expected

Elengy’s Fos Cavaou LNG terminal resumed shipments at a minimum rate on Friday, from 19 April previously scheduled, indicating the end of strike action at all three of the operator’s LNG terminals according to the company.

  • Only two deliveries discharged in March at the Fos Cavaou terminal.
  • Elengy’s two other terminals restarted minimal fuel sendouts last week.
  • The firm’s schedule indicates a potential restart of unloading operations at the Montoir LNG terminal over the weekend, followed by Fos Cavaou next week.
  • Sendout at the Dunkerque LNG terminal has also started to ramp up on Friday, following a force majeure notice which reduced delivery capacity.
