Freeport Ask FERC For Permission to Restart Third  Liquefaction Train

Freeport have asked permission from FERC to progress to the full, commercial operations of liquefaction Train 1 and Phase I including the three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one loading dock. The storage tanks have remained in operation throughout the outage and the loading dock has already resumed with supply from Train 3.

  • Freeport LNG said that the liquefaction Train 3 has reached full commercial operations and production of LNG and Train 2 is continuing through its restart activities according to a letter to the regulator on 26 Feb.
  • Pipeline feedstock deliveries to the terminal are up to around 0.73bcf/d according to Bloomberg data. Supplies averaged approximately 2.1bcf/d before the fire in June.
    • US Natgas APR 23 down -1.7% at 2.69$/mmbtu
