POWER: French Nuclear Output May Rise to Highest Since 2019 This Year

EdF has raised its nuclear power output target for 2024 to 358-364TWh, compared with a range of 340-360TWh previously forecast, remit data showed, meaning French nuclear output could rise at the highest since 2019, when output totalled 379.5TWh. 

  • That would be up from 320.4TWh in 2023, EdF data showed.
  • If ending at the bottom of the range, French nuclear output this year would be at the highest since 2021, while output would be at the highest since 2019, if ending at the top of the range.
