Fresh Leg Lower In Asia For E-Minis

EQUITIES

E-minis trade 0.3-0.7% lower apiece (led lower by the tech-heavy Nasdaq), extending Wednesday’s decline in Asia after the contracts closed between 1.7-1.8% softer in that session (mirroring the performance of their respective underlying cash indices).

  • The e-minis now operate around fresh two-month lows at writing, with DJIA contracts approaching 17-month lows recorded around mid-June, a little below the 30,000 mark.
  • Appetite for high-beta assets appears to remain limited, with Bitcoin also notching its own fresh three-month lows a little earlier in the session.
