Fresh Selling At Cash Re-Open

US TSYS

Fresh selling comes in at the cash Tsy re-open after a two-way start to Asia-Pac trade. Early Asia trade saw regional participants extend on the late NY weakness (where a lack of meaningful month-/quarter-end linked buying was observed), with momentum and some spill over from the Aussie bond space seemingly driving the market. The space then found a bit of a base, alongside ACGBs, before fresh selling was observed at the cash re-open.

  • That leaves TYM2 -0-12+ at 122-15+, 0-04 off the base of its early 0-10 Asia range, while cash Tsys are 2-3bp cheaper across the curve, with 7s leading the weakness.
