Friday Expiry In Focus

OPTIONS

Most of the interesting options flow in today's session was in Sep20 contracts - which expire this Friday.

Desks suggested that these could have been closing out of positions, including possible short cover in OEU0 135.00 call bought for 4.5 in 10k. We also saw DUU0 111.80/111.70 put spread bought for 0.5 in 10k, and RXU0 175.00/174.50 put spread trading at 5.5 in 2.8k (though sources conflicted as to whether this was bought or sold).

Other EGB/Euribor/Short-Sterling options flow included:

  • RXV0 175.00 call bought for 33 / 35 in 5k
  • OEV0 135.00/135.50/136 1x3x2 call fly bought for 1.5 in 1k
  • ERU0 100.50/100.625 call spread sold down to 0.25 in 16k (v 100.455, 5d)
  • LZ0 99.875/100.00 call spread sold at 3.25 in 2k
