US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: Friday provided a very quiet end to the week for US Tsys, as the
space operated around unchanged levels after a mildly higher, risk-off supported
start.
- The early risk off tone came on the back of worry surrounding the weekend's G7
meeting & EM weakness.
- T-Notes have started the week just above Friday's closing levels but lower
than settlement despite US President Trump refusing to sign the G7 communique,
which triggered some diplomatic jousting, as US policymakers largely focused on
what they deemed to a "dishonest" Canadian PM Trudeau.
- Wednesday's FOMC decision & Tuesday's US CPI release provide the key points of
interest this week.
- T-Notes last at 119.17, US 10-Year Tsy yields closed at 2.946%.
