that the Tories have 'baked in' austerity. Public spending outside health would
still be 14% lower in 2023-24 than it was in 2010. Whereas under Labour tax and
spend would rise to 'peacetime highs'
IFS says neither Labour or Tories have offered a 'credible prospectus'. 'Should
they win it is highly likely Tories would end up spending more'. 'Labour would
not be able to deliver investment spending increases on scale they propose.
