Futures A Touch Firmer, Curve Twist Flattens

JGBS

JGBs twist flatten, with the major benchmarks running 0.5bp cheaper to 2.5bp richer across the curve, while JGB futures pull higher early on, last +18, as that contract sticks within its overnight range. Some richening in the U.S. Tsy space is aiding the rally in the 5+-Year zone, although there hasn’t been much in the way of overt headline flow to trigger the move, with most pointing to setup ahead of U.S. CPI data and a block in the U.S. Tsy futures space.
