Futures Bid Early On

US TSYS

Tsy futures are better bid in early overnight dealing, as regional participants react to the relatively in line with wider exp. FOMC decision and Fed Chair Powell pushing back against the idea of 75bp rate hikes. None of the major Tsy futures contracts have breached their respective NY peaks, with the longer end of the curve (US & WN futures) the furthest away from their respective post-FOMC peaks, as the short-end repricing of Fed rate hike expectations was the dominant factor in post-FOMC dealing. TYM2 last unchanged at 119-05.
