TYH3 deals at 111-24+, -0-07, in line with levels seen late in yesterday’s session.

  • Cash Tsys were closed on Monday owing to the observance of the Presidents Day holiday, they re-open in today's Asia-Pac session.
  • Amid thin holiday volumes Tsy futures respected narrow ranges with little follow through on moves finishing the day marginally cheaper as participants pushed back against Friday's bid. The recent hawkish repricing of the Fed tightening cycle remained in focus, while geopolitical tensions cushioned the weakness.
  • Minutes of the RBA's February policy meeting headline in the Asia-Pac session today. Further out flash PMI data from Europe and the U.S. will cross as well as U.S. existing home sales data. We also have the latest 2-Year Tsy supply.
