Gas Supply to Freeport Rises to Highest Since January Outage

Natural gas supply to Freeport LNG has risen to its highest level since late January, according to Bloomberg.

  • Feedgas flows into Freeport LNG currently stand at 1.702 bcf/d compared to a maximum of around 2.2 bcf/d.
  • Gas flows suggest that the facility’s third train is starting up, Bloomberg said.
  • Freeport LNG initially tripped in January due to a freeze-related outage and had had some production disruptions and partial production during the maintenance period.
  • Debottlenecking is estimated to end by early May, according to Freeport.
