The Dutch Gate LNG terminal in the port of Rotterdam plans scheduled maintenance for three days on May 6-8.

  • The works will start on Monday, May 6 at 06:00 CET, according to Gate.
  • “During this period, the terminal’s sendout capacity will be reduced to a maximum of around 32,000 nm3/hour, approximately 370 MWh/hour,” it said.
  • “The curtailment in sendout capacity will end on Thursday May 9, 2024 at 06:00 hours CET,” Gate said.
  • Vessel discharging and loading operations and truck loading operations will not be impacted.
  • The terminal has an LNG throughout capacity of 12bcm/yr and three LNG storage tanks with a net capacity of 180,000 cubic meters each.
  • A final investment decision was taken in August 2023 to build the fourth LNG tank with a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters and additional regasification capacity of 4 BCM per year.
