GBP Gets Some Minor Support from UK Government Spokesman

CABLE

GBP gets (a little) support from a UK government spokesman, who states that the UK have had "useful" exchanges with the EU in recent weeks and that the UK are working hard to reach a deal with the EU.

Volume in GBP futs picked up a little to prompt recovery back to broadly flat for GBP/USD. Beyond today's high of 1.2805, MNI Tech flags the Sep22 high at 1.2867 as the next more notable resistance.
