EQUITIES
EQUITIES: Generally choppy Asia-Pac trade for global equity indices, with the
momentum generated by the negative turn towards the Wall St. closing bell fading
as we moved through the session, as the impact of the cloudier outlook for the
Sino-U.S. relationship unwound.
- S&P 500 e-minis have reclaimed 3,000 after failing to hold above the
psychological level on a closing basis on Tuesday, with yesterday's high
providing the initial target for bulls.
- Nikkei 225 +0.8%, Hang Seng -0.3%, CSI 300 -0.3%, ASX 200 +0.9%.
- S&P 500 futures +21, DJIA futures +183, NASDAQ 100 futures +81.
