EGB SUMMARY: - German bunds have sold off since early afternoon. The benchmark
2-year bund yield has edged up to -0.5987% from a session low of -0.6155%, while
the 10-year is up to 0.338% from a low of 0.317%. The curve is little changed on
the day.
- It has been a similar story for French OATS. Key levels: 2-year -0.440%,
5-year 0.020%, 10-year 0.677%, 30-year 1.563%.
- The morning rally in Italian BTPs has reversed with yields across the curve
trading around the top of the day's range. The 2-year yield has pushed up to
1.060% from 0.959% and the 10-year up to 3.015% from 2.922%. The 2s10s spread
has widened to 194.1bps from 186.9bps while the 2s30s has narrowed to 255.4bps
from 261.8bps at mid morning.
- The Spanish curve has steepened with 2s10s up to 171.0bps from 168.4bps and
the 2s30s up to 283.2bps from 280.8bps.
- The EURIBOR futures strip is flat on the day.
