German Gas Supply Stable Despite Russian Cuts

German gas regulator Bundesnetzagentur, have announced in their daily gas market report that “The situation is tense. The gas supply in Germany is, however, currently stable. The security of supply in Germany is currently safeguarded.”.

  • Gas is currently still being injected into storage overall. Compared with yesterday the amount of gas put into storage has increased slightly. Gas is being injected into the Rehden storage facility at maximum capacity.
  • Current storage levels at facilities in Germany are at 56.29%.
  • The companies affected by the missing deliveries can procure missing volumes elsewhere on the market according to the regulator.
