See the latest German wind output forecast for base-load hours from SpotRenewables vs Bloomberg’s ECMWF model for the next seven days as of Monday afternoon.

  • Both models have similar wind forecasts on 26-27 December, with the smallest deviations on those days. Wind estimates are most similar on 26 December at only a 0.01GW difference.
  • The largest deviations are seen on 30-31 December and 1 January as SpotRenewables estimates much lower wind than ECMWF over the period.
  • Despite these differences, both models show a general trend of low wind over 25-29 December before slowing increasing over 30 December- 1 January.
