JET FUEL
Global jet fuel demand will peak in the second week of August, at 6.93 million b/d, according to BloombergNEF estimates.
- BNEF then expects demand to fall to 6.80m b/d in September, and further down to 6.67m b/d by October, as the summer travel winds down.
- Demand in Asia, North America and Western Europe will comprise approximately 75% of global jet fuel demand during this period.
- Jet fuel demand for international flights to China is also expected to surpass 0.11m b/d across Aug-Oct.
