EQUITIES: Global stocks continue to benefit from risk appetite, though Asian
stocks closed mixed, with Japan's NIKKEI up 148.06 pts or +0.7% at 21419.23 and
the TOPIX up 14.74 pts or +0.96% at 1549.47. China's SHANGHAI closed down 9.743
pts or -0.34% at 2836.804 and the HANG SENG ended 83.3 pts lower or -0.36% at
23301.36.
- European equities are higher, with the German Dax up 133.15 pts or +1.16% at
11637.84, FTSE 100 up 77.81 pts or +1.28% at 6145.68, CAC 40 up 67.7 pts or
+1.47% at 4673.94 and Euro Stoxx 50 up 37.9 pts or +1.26% at 3037.12.
U.S. futures continue to hit multi-month highs, with the Dow Jones mini up 255
pts or +1.02% at 25257, S&P 500 mini up 26.75 pts or +0.89% at 3021.25, NASDAQ
mini up 67 pts or +0.71% at 9473.5.
