GoCs Underperform, Dockworkers Reach Tentative Agreement

  • Canadian dockworkers and employers overnight reached a tentative agreement to stop their strike at key ports, with the agreement now going to the ILWU’s members for ratification.
  • A light Canadian docket today (only Nanos confidence and, very much at the margin, building construction price indexes for Q2) leaves US matters as likely drivers with the MNI Chicago PMI and Goolsbee speaking before the SLOOS later, somewhat previewed by Chair Powell.
