GOLD
GOLD: Gold has held above $1,600/oz for the majority of the Asia-Pac session,
only having a brief, and very limited look below the round figure. This comes
after Apple inspired worry allowed bulls to push spot higher on Tuesday.
Coronavirus matters continue to dominate headline flow in Asia-Pac hours, with
worry re: South Korea evident, even as the headline new daily case count in
China moderates further (although the Chinese daily death toll rose).
- Bullion last deals at $1,601/oz, little changed on the session. Bulls now eye
$1,611.4/oz, the Jan 8 high and key resistance as their next upside target.
