Government To Introduce Stimulus Plan Linked To Confidence Vote

  • Peru’s government will introduce an economic relief plan for low-income Peruvians linked to its request for a vote of confidence, Prime Minister Alberto Otarola said in a statement sent by government media office via text message.
    • The stimulus plan will include infrastructure investment as well as food and poverty alleviation elements.
    • Details of the plan are to be presented to the congress linked to the vote of confidence scheduled for Jan. 10. (Bloomberg)
