    • The Greek Cypriot administraton is considering this as part of a series of sanctions against the TNRC
  • Turkey rejects UNSC statement on Turkish plans to reopen Varosha, saying that it ignores the reality of the situation on the ground and that the TNRC's actions are in line with international law.
    • On Friday the UNSC unanimously called for Turkey to cease and immediately reverse the re-opening of the 3.5 square km portion of Varosha – saying this was inconsistent with the resolutions
