CHINA PRESS: Guo Shuqing, the former chairman of the China Banking Regulatory
Comission, has been appointed as the new chairman of China Banking and Insurance
Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), the Economic Observer reported Wednesday. The
report also said Wang Zhaoxing and Chen Wenhui, the former vice chairmen of
China Banking Regulatory Commission and China Insurance Regulatory Commission,
respectively, have been appointed as vice chairs of the CBIRC.
