Guyana Crude Exports Doubled in 2022 and Set to Increase Further

Crude exports from Guyana more than doubled last year to 279kbpd according to Kpler with projections of future output to around 1.2mb/d by 2027.

  • The Liza field is performing better than expected and increased to greater than nameplate capacity up to 387kb/d in March.
  • The Prosperity floating production, storage and offloading unit, is expected to increase output to 600kb/d by 2024. The 250k b/d Yellowtail unit is due online in 2025 and further plans are under consideration for 2026 and beyond.
  • In 2022 Guyana exported 49% or 137kb/d of its crude to Europe and another 76kb/d to the US.
