Guyana’s Payara Oil Production Reaches Peak Capacity in Jan: Hess

Production from Guyana’s Payara, the third development on Stabroek Block, has reached it maximum gross capacity of 220k b/d, according to Hess cited by Platts.

  • Maximum capacity was reached just two months after startup.
  • That puts gross production at Stabroek Block at 600k b/d.
  • Stabroek’s fourth and fifth developments, Yellowtail and Uaru will each have 250k b/d of capacity and will come online in 2025 and 2027, Platts said.
