EURO-HUF: Having bounced off 27-mth lows of Huf301.74 yesterday, central bank
comments that said it was considering further unconventional easing saw the rate
spike to recovery highs of Huf304.85, before fading. Morgan Stanley strategist
Min Dai added "Given how much HUF has appreciated to date, there is room for
some reversal in HUF appreciation in response to dovish rhetoric from the NBH,
particularly given the limited evidence that additional easing is required for
the economy." Consolidation has remained the theme in early Europe with trade
tied to a narrow Huf304.12-33 range. Offers are reported at Huf305.00 (Huf304.96
- 76.4% Huf305.96-301.74), a break opens Huf305.96 (Aug11 high).
