Brexit uncertainty amid the backdrop of renewed economic concerns which is
likely to see the UK economy contract in Q2, pressured sterling across the
board. GBPUSD touched fresh ytd lows of 1.2440, retaining the underlying heavy
tone. The 76.4% retracement of the Oct 2016-Apr 2018 rally intersects at 1.2439
and marks a key support. A close below would expose the Apr 11 2017 low at
1.2404. Gains above 1.2545/50 are needed to change the short-term outlook
