US: Here's a political summary on afternoon Pres. Trump speech: he urged

Americans to unite to get tax reform, said "Let's create the 21st century tax

code that our people deserve" and urged American politicians to "unite in the

name of the common good." He did say anything on the N.Korea situation, at least

not at this venue.

- Trump hailed the US 2Q 3% growth reported Wednesday. He added "we would like

to bring out business tax rate down to 15%." He said "we need a competitive tax

code that creates more jobs at higher wages" for Americans.

- He said "we must reduce the burden" of US taxes "on our companies" and

taxpayers. He said on tax reform, "I am fully committed to working with

Congress" to get the tax reform job done.
