IAEA Head To Meet w/Iranian FM On 22 Nov: Fars

Iran's IRGC-linked Fars News agency is reporting that IAEA Dir-Gen Rafael Grossi will visit Tehran on 22 November for talks with Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organistation Mohammad Eslami.

• This will be the first meeting between Grossi and Amir-Abdollahian since the latter came into office under President Ebrahim Raisi. Could be first step towards resuming Vienna talks on Iran coming back into compliance w/the nuclear deal.
• At the COP26 summit, speaking to CNN Grossi stated that nuclear surveillance in Iran has "been weakened, it's a fact."[...] he says it is "becoming increasingly difficult" for the IAEA to operate as nuclear watchdog in Iran: "We need the access," he says.
