- A total of 448mbbls of open Oct23 Brent options positions are currently due to expire against the futures close today. Current open interest is 221k for calls contracts and 226k for puts.
- The aggregate open interest across all ICE Brent options is 1.475m of calls and 1.182m of puts contracts.
- The main nearby open position of note is on the call side at 85$/bbl with 11k of open interest. The main put volumes are just below the current price at 83$/bbl and 81$/bbl.
