The average import price of Russian crude to India, including shipping and insurance, rose in October to 84.47$/bbl according to government data.
- The price has risen more than 3% from September and is the highest since November 2022 but remains cheaper than cargoes from Iraq and Saudi Arabia according to Bloomberg.
- Russia’s exports of crude oil to India slumped in November, according to Platts, amid rising freight rates and tighter sanctions compliance.
