unilaterally withdraw Article 50, resetting the Brexit timeline. There had been
media speculation that tomorrow's Brexit vote could potentially be delayed with
May potentially returning to Brussels to attempt to negotiate a better deal,
however a spokeswoman has since denied these reports. May is holding a call with
the Cabinet at 11:30GMT.
- Short sterling has ticked higher against this backdrop with Reds, Greens and
Blues all moving 2-3bp higher.
- The Euribor curve has shifted around 0.5 ticks lower today, in line with White
and Red Eurodollar contracts. Eurodollar Greens and Blues are around 0.5 ticks
higher as the week begins on a fairly quiet footing.
- Implied rates on Swedish FRAs Reds and Greens have fallen 2.5-3.5bp following
weaker than expected consumption data, while Whites are largely unchanged.
- Norwegian FRAs have bucked the trend with higher than expected inflation data,
driving primarily by food, alcohol and "misc" seeing implied rates increase
1-2bp across the curve.
