A new survey from Yahoo News/YouGov has indicated the indictment of Former President Donald Trump may increase his chances of winning the GOP 2024 nomination.

- The political repercussions of a Trump conviction remain unclear, especially considering that the indictment remains sealed until after Trump is arraigned. Conventional wisdom in Washington says such a public prosecution will bolster Trump in the GOP primary but may harm his chances in the 2024 presidential election.
