-ISM Mfg index edged up to 48.3 in Oct, although missing market exp (Bbg: 49.0) 

-The composite index remains in contraction for the third consecutive month 

-The increase was led by a solid rise in Inventories, followed by New Orders and

Employment 

-A drop in Supplier Deliveries and Production held further improvements back 

-Across all indicators, Prices revealed the biggest fall (down 4.2pts to 45.5) 

-New Export Orders edged up to 50.4, while Import Orders fell by to 45.3
