Issuance & SoMP to End The Week

AUSSIE BONDS

Broader core FI weakness post-BoE & ECB meetings has weighed on the space since yesterday’s settlement, leaving YM -5.5 & XM -6.0 in early Sydney trade, just off their respective overnight/early Sydney troughs. The weekly AOFM issuance slate, A$1.0bn of ACGB Nov-25 supply and the release of the RBA’s SoMP dominate the local docket on Friday. Re: the SoMP, do note that the Bank’s key economic forecasts have already been pre-announced this week (via the RBA statement & Governor Lowe’s address), as is the norm, so don’t expect much market reaction on that front.
