EURO-YEN: It has been an uneventful start to the new trading day, the cross
holding a narrow Y132.00 to Y132.16 range. Nikkei opened a tad lower, but has
since recovered and now trades up 0.10%. Japanese names showed demand earlier
near the low. So far, no mention of Tokyo-fix related interest. Local traders
anticipate further sideways trading ahead of the European open and release of
German Industrial Production for September. Below Y132.00 hourly support is seen
at Y131.85, a break to expose Oct31-30 lows at Y131.51-46, while initial
resistance is found at Y132.43 (38.2% fib on yesterday's Y133.12-Y132.00
decline). Euro-yen was last at Y132.13.
