ITALY-Bilateral Partnership To Boost Trade & Investment Signed

The UK Department for International Trade has confirmed that Secretary of State for Business and Trade Kemi Badenoch and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani have signed a partnership intended to boost exports and investment between the two nations. Comes as part of the two-day bilateral Pontignano Forum between the countries taking place in Rome.

  • The forum takes place at the residence of the British ambassador to Italy and is intended to focus on trade, defence/security, and foreign affairs. Secretaries of State for Foreign Affairs and Defence, James Cleverly and Ben Wallace respectively in attendance from the UK side as well as Badenoch, while Italian Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto joins Tajani from the Italian side.
