JAPAN DATA: -Japan's national average core consumer price index (excluding fresh
food) registered 0.0% growth in June, helped by firmer energy prices.
-Energy costs fell 5.3% y/y in June, slower than the 6.7% y/y drop registered in
May.
-Overall CPI increased 0.1% y/y, the same as the gain recorded the previous
month.
-The underlying inflation rate measured by the core-core CPI (excluding fresh
food and energy) rose 0.4% y/y, unchanged from last month.
-Prices for ex-perishables grew 1.2% y/y, down from 1.4% y/y growth in May. 
-Prices for household spending increased 2.5% y/y, up from the previous 1.3% y/y
fall.
