JGBS: JGB futures have coiled in a tight range on Monday, with little in the way
of headline flow to go off.
- The contract has been driven by broader swings in the Nikkei 225, which have
also been relatively limited.
- Yields are virtually unchanged across the curve, with some minor
outperformance observed in the super-long end during afternoon trade.
- On the corporate issuance front, Intesa Sanpaolo announced that it will issue
3- & 15-Year JPY paper.
- The domestic docket will pick up during the remainder of the week with the
usual Rinban operations, BSI survey, 5-Year supply and latest BoJ MonPol
decision providing the points of interest.
