JGBS: JGB futures ticked higher this morning, benefitting from the broader
risk-off feel, hitting session highs just ahead of lunch break (+11 at the
morning bell). The belly of the curve underperformed in cash trade.
- On the news flow front, Economy Minister Nishimura confirmed reports re: the
early lifting of the state of emergency in Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo prefectures.
- Elsewhere, 1-5 Year BoJ Rinban ops saw softer cover offer/ratios and tighter
spreads vs. the prev. operations covering the respective buckets.
