JGB futures trimmed their overnight losses.....>

JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures trimmed their overnight losses during the morning session,
after a brief look lower in early Tokyo trade, drawing support from a relatively
cautious feel to Asia dealing. The contract went into the lunch break 7 ticks
below settlement levels.
- Curve twist flattened ahead of 2-Year supply, with the super-long end
outperforming on the hunt for carry ahead of the Golden Week holiday narrative.
- Participants may have also looked to comments from Dai-ichi life, made late
Wednesday, as the insurer noted that it plans to increase its holding of yen
bonds in the current fiscal year after its holdings fell in the 12 months to the
end-March.
- Swaps are generally tighter across the curve.
