JGBS
JGBS: JGB's quiet in early trade, 10-Year futures up 4 ticks at 150.74, yields
narrowly mixed across the curve.
- JGB's finished lower yesterday but were well off session lows after the Bank
of Japan kept rates unchanged. BoJ Gov. Kuroda kept a dovish tone, reaffirming
the BoJ committment to monetary easing. Kuroda also said that the reversal rate
was not intended to signal a change of bias on policy.
- The MOF will today conduct a 5-15.5 Year enhanced liquidity auction, results
due at 0345GMT. Barclays say "we believe today's enhanced liquidity auction
(5y-15.5y) will go smoothly and expect the superlong sector to drive a modest
market comeback. MoF is scheduled to release its official JGB issuance plan for
FY18."
