Kazakhstan to Raise August Output

Kazakhstan to raise August output 2.8% from July to August following the resumption of flows from the Kashagan oil field.

  • Oil and condensate production for August is expected at 7.1m tons compared to 6.88m tons in July, 5.91m tons in June and 7.62m tons in May before the Kashagan outage.
  • Maintenance at the Tengiz field during August is keeping output below May levels.
