Kazakhstan to Raise Oil Supplies to Germany in Nov, Dec

Kazakhstan will raise crude oil supplies to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline to 200,000 tons in December, up from 100,000 tons initially planned, traders told Reuters.

  • Kazakh oil producers asked to book additional December supplies via the pipeline, traders said.
  • KazTransOil said on Wednesday it will boost supplies to Germany by 54% in November.
  • Germany received 690k tons of crude from Kazakhstan via the pipeline during Jan-Oct. Earlier this month Germany and Kazakhstan were reportedly in discussions to send 2mn tons of crude to Germany in 2024.
